Novara People are recruiting for an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a Brighouse-based manufacturer supplying oils, lubricants and associated products across the UK and internationally.

This role blends warehouse duties with occasional deliveries in a company van, with varied days and responsibilities throughout the week.

Qualifications

• Previous FLT experience and a valid FLT licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
• Comfortable driving a company van.
• Confident with manual handling.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate an FLT within the warehouse.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Pick and prepare customer orders.
• Move and organise stock.
• General warehouse duties and manual handling.
• Drive a company van to make customer deliveries.
• Complete local and possibly longer-distance deliveries.
• Ensure goods are transported safely and professionally.
• Complete delivery paperwork.
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean and safe.

Job description

Novara People are recruiting for an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established Brighouse-based manufacturer supplying specialist oils, lubricants and associated products to customers across the UK and internationally.

This is a varied role where no two days will necessarily be the same. We're looking for somebody who is happy working within the warehouse but is equally comfortable getting out on the road and completing deliveries in a company van.

Some days you could spend the majority of the day driving and making deliveries, other days will be completely warehouse based, and some will be a mixture of both.

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
Full-time | Temp-to-Perm
Full UK Driving License Essential and FLT License counterbalance OR reach

The role

• Operating an FLT within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Moving and organising stock
• General warehouse and manual handling duties
• Driving a company van to make customer deliveries
• Completing local and potentially longer-distance delivery runs
• Ensuring goods are transported safely and professionally
• Completing relevant delivery paperwork
• Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean and safe
