Job summary

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver for a client located in Ferryhill, County Durham. This Temp to Perm role involves safe receipt, storage and movement of raw materials in a manufacturing environment.

Initial dayshift training with a move to two-shift rotation. Hourly rates: Days £12.71, 2-shift £15.25. Health and safety, and site procedures are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Must have previous forklift experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Moving and storing materials safely.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Supporting production and assembly teams with material handling.
• Carrying out routine equipment checks.
• Ensuring materials are stored safely and correctly.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards, reporting any equipment or material issues, and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
