Job summary

E3 Recruitment is looking for an FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing facility in the Birtley area of Chester-le-Street. The role involves operating a Fork Lift Truck with a B1 licence to support production and ensure smooth line operations.

Hours are Monday–Friday, DAYS ONLY, 6am–2pm (1pm finish on Fridays). Salary starts at £12.71 per hour, rising to £14.16 after 12 weeks, with overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x. This is an ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading PLC manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Fork Lift Truck with B1 Licence.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards.
• Ability to work within a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT to move materials and support production.
• Assist with running the production facility and related tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and site cleanliness.
