Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is recruiting for a Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver / Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Deeside. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a three-shift rotating pattern and competitive salary (DOE).

Applicants must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and have previous warehouse or manufacturing experience. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, with basic IT skills advantageous for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Basic computer skills would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive and manage deliveries at the warehouse.
• Ensure all delivery drivers comply with site health & safety procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles accurately and safely using a forklift truck.
• Store raw materials in the correct warehouse locations.
• Supply raw materials to production in a timely manner.
• Liaise with suppliers and waste collection companies.
• Arrange waste collections as required.
• Carry out regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Communicate effectively with production and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Operate and carry out basic maintenance checks on balers, including rewiring when required.
• Provide support to the goods In the department when needed.
• Follow all company health & safety and quality procedures.

About You

Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential). Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.

Experience loading and unloading vehicles.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills would be advantageous.
