Job summary

Novara People Ltd is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative for a specialist manufacturing site in Leeds (LS10). The role combines counterbalance FLT driving with general warehouse tasks, requiring flexibility to work on and off the truck.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with potential longer shifts or overtime during busy production periods, including 12-hour shifts when required. The post emphasises health and safety and efficient stock management.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and full UK driving licence.
• Experience driving FLTs in a warehouse environment is required.
• Good health and safety awareness is essential to operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving materials and finished products around the site.
• Putting stock away into designated locations.
• Picking and preparing materials/orders.
• Supporting production with materials when required.
• Stock movement and general warehouse duties.
• Manual handling.
• Completing FLT safety checks.
• Keeping warehouse and working areas clean and organised.
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures.

This is a varied role combining FLT driving with general warehouse duties, so we're looking for someone who is happy to work both on and off the truck.

Monday to Friday - 8:00am-5:00pm
