Job summary

Talent are recruiting an experienced FLT Driver for a manufacturing business in the Halifax area. The role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, with shifts Monday to Friday and overtime at uplifted rates.

Training and development are provided. Key duties include loading/unloading with an FLT, delivering packaging materials to production lines, removing excess goods, packing finished goods for dispatch, order picking with handheld scanners, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Qualifications

• Using the FLT to load/unload vehicles per daily requirements.
• Delivering all packaging materials to production lines.
• Removing excess goods from production lines when required.
• Packing Finished Goods ready for dispatch.
• Order picking with handheld scanners.
• General upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Experience of working within warehousing, logistics & stock control.
• Worked within a manufacturing/production environment.
• In date FLT Counterbalance or Reach Licence.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
