Job summary

Catering is seeking a Bendi Driver in Corby for a temp-to-perm role. You will operate a Bendi forklift in a busy paint manufacturing and warehouse environment, moving pallets, loading and unloading stock between warehouse and production areas.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with breaks. A valid Bendi/Flexi licence and a strong team attitude are essential for the role and its responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Forklift Licence: A valid Bendi/Flexi forklift licence is essential.
• Impeccable Attention to Detail: able to spot differences between product codes.
• Reliability & Punctuality: dependable with excellent attendance.
• Strong Communication Skills: reading codes, labels and safety instructions in English.
• Great Attitude: fast learner who supports the team.

Responsibilities

• Operating Forklift safely with awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Inventory Control: assist with stock rotation, unloading deliveries, keep warehouse clean.
• Maintaining Pace: work efficiently during standard hours and boost speed at peak times without sacrificing accuracy.
• Manual Handling: lift up to 25kg and assist with loading and warehouse duties as needed.

Salary: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Breaks: 15 mins (Morning) / 30 mins (Lunch) / 15 mins (Afternoon)

The Role

Responsible for operating a Bendi forklift safely and efficiently within a busy paint manufacturing and warehouse environment. Duties include moving, loading and unloading pallets and materials, ensuring products are stored correctly and safely, and transporting stock between warehouse and production areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Forklift safely: strong awareness of health and safety procedures, careful handling of goods, and the ability to operate the forklift confidently while maintaining a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
• Inventory Control: Assisting with stock rotation, unloading deliveries, and keeping the warehouse clean and organised.
• Maintaining Pace: Working efficiently during standard hours and finding that “second gear” to increase speed during peak busy periods without dropping accuracy.
• Manual Handling: Able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 25kg and, when required, come off the forklift to assist with loading, unloading and general warehouse duties

• Forklift Licence: A valid Bendi/Flexi forklift licence is essential, with proven experience operating a Bendi forklift safely and efficiently in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Impeccable Attention to Detail: You must be able to spot the minor differences between highly similar product codes to prevent errors.
• Reliability & Punctuality: As a small team, short-notice absences impact us heavily. We need someone dependable who takes pride in excellent attendance.
• Strong Communication Skills: A good level of written, spoken, and reading English is essential for reading codes, labels, and safety instructions.
