Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking experienced FLT Drivers for a busy logistics base in the South Derbyshire area, easily accessible from Burton, Uttoxeter and Derby. Immediate starts, overtime opportunities, and a 2–3 shift rotation (AM/PM/Night) on a weekly pattern.

Valid Bendi/Flexi licences and at least 3 months forklift experience are required. Hourly pay starts at £15.32, rising to £19.15 for overtime above 40 hours. Weekly or monthly pay options and company benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with Bendi/Flexi licence is required.
• Forklift operating experience in a distribution setting (min 3 months).
• Must hold valid FLT licences and be able to operate in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of the forklift and LLOP.
• Operate MHE safely in a high-pressure environment.
• Assist with manual palletising when required.
• Use of RF scanning gun.
• Assist with stock-related queries/discrepancies.

Our customer is seeking experienced FLT Drivers with either current, or recently lapsed Bendi / Flexi licences to join their leading logistics base in the South Derbyshire area, easily accessible from Burton, Uttoxeter and Derby.

All applicants will be expected to people to commit to a 2 or 3 shift rotation, involving AM/ PM/ Night shift on a weekly alternation. We would be seeking proven demonstratable fork lift operating experience of at least 3 months in a distribution setting.

Duties of the FLT Flexi Driver will include:

• Safe operation of the forklift and LLOP
• Operating MHE in a safe and controlled manner in spite of busy high-pressure environment
• Supporting with manual palletising duties when required
• Use of RF scanning gun
• Assisting with any stock-related queries/ discrepancies

Hours of work: switching weekly

Rate of pay: £15.32 per hour (increasing to £19.15 for all hours worked over 40)
