Job summary

Rapier in Lichfield is seeking a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Driver for a permanent night-shift position at the Fradley Park site. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, handle general paperwork, and work as part of a dedicated team.

Hours are 20:00–04:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break. A counterbalance licence and about 1 year of experience are required. This is a site-based role in Lichfield.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid counterbalance licence.
• Have at least 1 year of practical experience.
• Able to work nights and be flexible.
• Based in or willing to travel to Lichfield area.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift for 75% of tasks on site.
• Complete general paperwork related to goods handling.
• Assist with handball and move stock as part of a dedicated team.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain vehicle discipline.

We are recruiting for FLT drivers to work from our customer's site on Fradley Park.

Main job description:

• Monday to Friday
• NIGHT SHIFT
• Hours of work: 20:00-04:30 (30 min unpaid break)
• General paperwork - 75% will be spent on the truck
• Some handball
• Working part of a dedicated team
• Rate of pay £14.45 per hour Basic (£40 per week performance pay)

Ideally you will have:

• Hold a valid counterbalance licence
• Have a positive attitude
• A willingness to learn
• 1 year of practical experience
