Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) seeks an experienced FLT Driver for the Avonmouth Depot on a night shift. You will unload pallets from artic trailers, sort and mark them, and reload vehicles for morning dispatch, rotating with related paperwork tasks.

The role is an ongoing temporary position with an immediate start for suitable candidates. A valid FLT licence is required, counterbalance preferred, and you must be able to work permanent night shifts. Own transport is advised.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance preferred).
• Previous FLT and warehouse experience.
• Able to work permanent night shifts.
• Own transport due to depot location.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Profile and FLT Licence required before placement.
• Training: candidates without Class 2 licence may be considered and receive basic shunting training.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Unload 2-3 artic trailers per shift.
• Mark up and organise pallets accurately.
• Reload trailers for morning deliveries.
• Complete warehouse and dispatch paperwork.
• Rotate between FLT duties and administrative tasks.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

FLT Driver (Night Shift)

Location: Avonmouth Depot

Shifts: 9:00 PM start, with a typical finish between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM.

Pay Rate: £17.60 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join our client at their Avonmouth Depot on a night shift basis. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity with an immediate start for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading incoming artic trailers, sorting and marking up pallets, and reloading vehicles ready for morning dispatch. Duties will also include rotating between FLT operation and associated warehouse paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Unload 2-3 artic trailers per shift.
• Mark up and organise pallets accurately.
• Reload trailers ready for morning deliveries.
• Complete warehouse and dispatch paperwork as required.
• Rotate between FLT duties and administrative tasks.

Requirements

Essential

• Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance preferred).
• Previous FLT and warehouse experience.
• Ability to work permanent night shifts.
• Own transport due to shift times and depot location.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Profile and FLT Licence required before placement.

Desirable

• Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Experience moving/shunting trailers.

Training: Candidates without a Class 2 licence may be considered and can receive basic shunting training.
