Job summary

Adecco are recruiting a reliable FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Sandbach. The role mixes counterbalance forklift operation with general warehouse and yard duties to keep site operations running smoothly.

The position offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate, with shift pattern 6:30am-3:30pm Mon-Thu and 6:30am-12pm Fridays, and a focus on safety, accuracy and teamwork on a busy site.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a warehouse and/or yard environment.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Load and unload goods in both the warehouse and external yard areas
• Support goods-in processes
• Move stock, materials and equipment across the site as required
• Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and housekeeping
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure operational efficiency
