Job summary

Pertemps Coventry is seeking an experienced FLT/Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing site in Leamington Spa. The role combines forklift operation with manual material handling to keep production supplied and materials moving safely.

You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, load/unload deliveries, and perform stock movements while adhering to safety procedures on a rotating shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable with manual handling of loads up to 25kg.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Able to work the rotating shift pattern.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Supplying production areas with materials.
• Transporting finished goods to storage locations.
• Manual handling of materials weighing up to 25kg.
• Accurately booking stock in and out.
• Carrying out stock movements and inventory tasks.
• Completing daily FLT safety checks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

FLT / Material Handler

Location: Leamington Spa
Pay Rate: £16.18 per hour
Shift Allowance: £115.35 per week (paid for completed shift rotations)

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating weekly shift pattern:

Week 1 (Days)
Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30
Friday: 06:00 - 12:00

Week 2 (Afternoons)
Monday to Thursday: 14:30 - 23:00
Friday: 12:00 - 18:00
