Job summary

E3 Recruitment is looking for an FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing facility in the Birtley area of Chester-le-Street. The role involves operating a Fork Lift Truck with a B1 licence to support production and ensure smooth line operations.

Hours are Monday–Friday, DAYS ONLY, 6am–2pm (1pm finish on Fridays). Salary starts at £12.71 per hour, rising to £14.16 after 12 weeks, with overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x. This is an ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading PLC manufacturer.

E3 Recruitment is looking to recruit a FLT Driver for an immediate start to join a well-established leading manufacturing business at its facility in the Birtley area of Chester-le-Street.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience of operating a Fork Lift Truck with B1 Licence, working in a fast-paced, heavy industry manufacturing environment.

• £12.71 per hour, increasing to £14.16 after 12 weeks

FLT responsibilities:

• Operation of FLT
• Support with the running of a production facility
• General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site
• Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems, and reporting procedures.

Essential Qualifications and Experience for FLT Driver:

• Experience of operating a Fork Lift Truck with B1 Licence
• A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards
