Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an FLT Driver to join an award-winning family business on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves working 6am-2pm and 2pm-11pm shifts, with pay rates of up to £14.00 per hour, along with ongoing training and development.

Over the past few years, the company has experienced substantial growth, employing over [number] people at its processing site. They create bespoke products to meet exact client requirements nationally, investing heavily in state-of-the-art machinery.

FLT Driver Duties:

1. Loading and unloading wagons
2. Moving stock/materials to various locations
3. Stock control and use of company systems
4. Manual handling of products
5. General yard duties, including cleaning and tidying inside and outside the premises
6. Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site

FLT Driver Skills:

1. Hold a valid RTITB accredited counterbalance forklift license
2. Basic computer skills
3. Experience in operating a counterbalance FLT competently
4. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
