Job summary

The Best Connection in Enfield is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a busy storage and warehouse operation. The role requires experience with Counterbalance and Clamp handling, and responsibilities include goods-in, goods-out and container unloading.

You will operate forklift equipment in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safe storage, accurate stock movement and efficient loading/unloading of goods. Immediate start and full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Certificate - Counterbalance or Reach.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience.
• Strong experience unloading containers - essential.
• Confident and competent operating FLT equipment.
• Good understanding of warehouse and storage operations.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Clamp Truck FLT safely and efficiently.
• Unload containers and vehicles confidently and safely.
• Move and position stock within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods.
• Store stock correctly and efficiently.
• Support goods-in and goods-out operations.
• Organise stock and maintain storage areas.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and health & safety.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

Location: Enfield

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative /FLT Driver (Counterbalance + Clamp experience) to join a busy storage and warehouse operation in Enfield.

This is a hands-on role focused on storage, stock movement and container unloading. The successful candidate must be confident operating a forklift within a busy warehouse environment and, importantly, have solid experience unloading containers.

You will be responsible for safely moving and storing stock, assisting with goods-in and goods-out, and supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
