Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for an FLT Driver based in Bridgwater (TA6) for a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 sites worldwide. This role includes training to operate a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck and enables you to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with 12-hour days and nights.

You will handle materials, stock control, and dispatch, while following Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality procedures to ensure on-time customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience operating FLT or training provided for VNA.
• Willing to work 4 on 4 off days and nights.
• Adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Move, store and supply materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
• Operate a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck after full training.
• Load and unload palletised goods safely and efficiently.
• Place and retrieve stock from racking up to 16 metres high.
• Prepare products for production and customer dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock control and assist inventory accuracy.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment at all times.

We are looking for FLT Driverto join aglobal independent soft drinks manufacturerwith78 manufacturing sitesworldwide including6 sites in the UK, based inBridgwater (TA6)

• Salary£32,050.70pa (Basic £29,137.00 with a shift allowance of £2,913.70)
• 4 on 4 off Rolling Shift pattern - covering days & nights
• 12 Hour shifts Day: 06:00 to 18:00 / 07:00 to 19:00 & Night: 18:00 to 06:00 or 19:00 - 07:00

This is no ordinary FLT Driverrole; you will join the team and get trained up to operate on of the sites Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck All training is provided.

A Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck is like a reach forklift truck, but instead of the forks lifting up on a VNA the cab and the forks lift up as one meaning people that we bring on must be happy to work at heights of up to16 metres high(approximately a 34 storey building).

You will operate the VNA to ensure the materials and finished products are stored, moved and supplied safely and efficiently dispatched to customer on time every time.

Previous VNA, Reach Truck or Counterbalance experience is desirable, but not essential, as full VNA training will be provided. You'll also ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times.

FLT Driver: Key Responsibilities
