Job summary

Nexus People are recruiting an FLT Driver for our client in Bridgend, the UK’s leading TV and monitor recycling plant.

You will operate an FLT, break down TVs and monitors, perform heavy lifting, sort materials, and use drills and hand tools. A valid in-date FLT licence and 6 months of experience are required; UK resident status is assumed for site access. Working hours are Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 with weekly pay and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous experience required.
• You must hold a valid, in date FLT Licence.
• UK resident and able to travel to site for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operating an FLT in a busy recycling environment.
• Breaking down TVs and monitors for disposal.
• Heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
• Sorting useful materials and components for recycling.
• Using handheld tools such as drills and screwdrivers.
• Cleaning the yard and maintaining a safe workspace.

FLT Driver – the role & responsibilities:

This role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you were flexible and willing to learn new skills.

About you:

You must have previous experience working in an environment where you are required to use hand tools.

You will have a valid and in date FLT Licence and be willing to carry out a variety of tasks during your working day.

You must be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
