Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting FLT counterbalance/warehouse operatives to join a leading food manufacturer in Knowsley, L34. The role offers a temporary to permanent path with training, PPE provided, and clear opportunities to develop within a fast-paced production setting.

Candidates must hold an RTITB Counterbalance licence, have a good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP, and be reliable with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Essential to have RTITB Counterbalance licence.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good manual handling ability.
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to cover alternative shift times when required to meet business needs.
• Due to shift start and finish times, applicants must live locally or have their own transport.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate FLT equipment for loading and unloading deliveries.
• Support ingredient picking for production using the FLT.
• Complete production paperwork to ensure full traceability.
• Palletise finished products ready for dispatch.
• Recycle waste materials, including packaging.
• Achieve daily production targets and KPIs.
• Maintain GMP standards and a clean-as-you-go working environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of the production team.
