Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting FLT counterbalance/warehouse operative to join a leading food manufacturer based in Knowsley, L34.

This is a temporary to permanent position with an attractive hourly rate and long-term career prospects. You will safely operate FLT equipment, assist with production paperwork, palletise products and maintain GMP standards. Local transport is required due to shift times.

Qualifications

• RTITB Counterbalance licence required.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP regulations.
• Good manual handling ability.
• Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach.
• Willing to cover alternate shifts when required.
• Due to shift times, must live locally or have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate FLT equipment for loading and unloading deliveries.
• Support ingredient picking for production using the FLT.
• Complete production paperwork to ensure full traceability.
• Palletise finished products ready for dispatch.
• Recycle waste materials, including packaging.
• Achieve daily production targets and KPIs.
• Maintain GMP standards and a clean-as-you-go working environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of the production team.
