Job summary

Gi Group (United Kingdom) is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse & Yard Operative for its Penistone site in South Yorkshire. The role combines forklift operation with general warehouse and yard duties to support busy operations and a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid in-date Counterbalance FLT licence, have warehouse/yard experience, and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse/yard experience.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
• Move, store and organise stock within the warehouse and yard.
• Carry out general warehouse and yard duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
