Manpower is recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Truck Driver in Birmingham, UK. The role involves safe operation of counterbalance forklifts, pre-shift checks, and efficient material handling across manufacturing cells.

The successful candidate will have a UK counterbalance forklift licence, at least 1 year of experience, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork. This is an on-site position within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift vehicle checks to ensure forklift is safe before shift.
• Transport packaging materials to and from manufacturing cells efficiently and safely.
• Move finished stock and store securely in designated areas using material handling equipment.
• Report faults or damage to forklift to Team Leader or Shift Manager.
• Adhere to all plant procedures and safety protocols during daily operations.
• Support manufacturing processes by ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
