Job summary

GI Group Main Account is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse & Yard Operative in Penistone. This hands‑on role combines forklift operation with general warehouse and yard duties within a busy team. A permanent, full‑time position with a supportive environment awaits.

You will operate the Counterbalance FLT, load/unload vehicles, and maintain safe, tidy premises. A valid licence and prior warehouse/yard experience are essential, along with a reliable, team‑oriented

Qualifications

• Valid, in‑date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse and/or yard experience.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
• Move, store, and organise stock in warehouse and yard.
• Carry out general warehouse and yard duties as required.
• Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
