Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. This is a temp-to-perm role with an immediate start for the right candidate, offering ongoing work throughout 2026 and flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle.

You'll operate a Counterbalance FLT up to 5 tonnes in a busy warehouse, loading, unloading and relocating stock while supporting yard operations.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
• Proven experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
• Experience handling wide and heavy products up to 5 tonnes
• Previous warehouse experience
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Strong attention to detail - accuracy is essential
• Ability to work quickly without compromising precision
• A team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Handle wide and heavy loads in a busy warehouse environment.
• Load, unload, and relocate stock.
• Support yard operations.
• Work as part of a team to meet operational targets.
• Maintain a steady, fast pace to ensure orders leave the warehouse on the same day.
