Job summary

The Best Connection Swindon is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance / Combi FLT Driver for an afternoon shift in Swindon. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with stable hours and the potential to secure a permanent contract with a leading timber and distribution company on the outskirts of Swindon.

Candidates must have Counterbalance and Combi FLT experience, a valid FLT licence, and be able to work safely in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Counterbalance FLT experience.
• Combi FLT experience.
• Valid FLT licence(s).
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work safely in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance and Combi FLT trucks safely and efficiently.
• Moving timber products throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.
• Assisting with stock movements and storage.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

The Best Connection Swindon is recruiting on behalf of a leading timber and distribution company based on the outskirts of Swindon. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to strengthen their warehouse team with a skilled and reliable FLT Driver.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year's Counterbalance FLT experience
• Combi FLT experience
• Valid FLT licence(s)
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work safely in a busy warehouse environment

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 2:00pm - 11:00pm
• £13.47 per hour (PAYE)
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
