Job summary

Recruit4staff is representing a well known business in Stoke seeking a FLT Combi Driver. The role is temp to permanent with days 7:30am-5pm (finish 12:30pm on Fridays) and overtime opportunities.

Starting rate £14.47 - £15.07 per hour, with ongoing training and development. You will load/unload from delivery vehicles, move various loads such as steel sections and timber, and ensure loads are secured while following H&S regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Must hold a Combilift/Multidirectional licence - essential.
• Training may be provided if experience but no licence.
• Experience with large or unusual loads is a plus.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow H&S rules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles to designated areas.
• Move long, heavy loads such as steel sections, metal components, timber or pipes.
• Transport materials between stores, production lines and departments.
• Safely navigate loads through the factory and perform pre-use checks on the sideloader.
• Ensure loads are secured and balanced within vehicle capacity.
• Follow health and safety regulations and work with logistics teams.

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well known business in their search for a FLT Combi Driver to work in their leading facility in Stoke.

For the successful FLT Combi Driver our client is offering:

• Temporary to Permanent role
• Days based 7:30am-5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
• Overtime opportunities
• Starting rate of £14.47 - £15.07 depending on experience

The role FLT Combi Driver:

• Loading & unloading materials from delivery vehicles into designated areas
• Transport long, heavy & awkward loads, these can include: Steel Sections, Metal Components, Timber, Pipes, Chassis Components or Fabricated Products
• Moving materials between Stores, Production Lines & Manufacturing departments
• Safely transporting loads through the factory
• Carry out pre-use checks on the Sideloader and reporting any defects
• Checking loads are secure & balanced within the trucks capacity
• Following Health & Safety rules and regulations
• Working closely with the Logistics Teams

What our client is looking for in a FLT Combi Driver:

• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Must hold a Combilift / Multidirectional Licence - ESSENTIAL
• If you hold experience but don't have the licence our client may considering training you, depending on the amount of experience held
• Our client will consider an experienced FLT Driver who has worked with Large or Unusual Loads
• Strong attention to details
• Able to follow H&S regulations
