Job summary

Greggs in Kettering is recruiting for a Flow Room Lead at our new National Distribution Centre at Symmetry Park. You will help lay the foundation for the Flow Room, work with planning, engineering and warehouse operations, and participate in systems testing for a smooth launch.

You’ll learn the site’s processes quickly, create training materials and onboarding plans, and help define SOPs and standards. This is a startup-style role within a growing supply chain team, with long-term development

Qualifications

• Experience with automated warehouse operations and systems testing.
• Proven ability to write and embed SOPs, processes and standards.
• Experience in start-up environments or new site launches.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with MS Office and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and build a cohesive Flow Room team and oversee staffing.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and IT to ensure smooth automated flow.
• Lead shift handovers, daily briefs and coaching to meet deadlines.
• Monitor WMS dashboards and implement best practices to improve throughput.
• Develop and deliver standard reports to senior team and provide ad-hoc analysis.
• Create training materials and onboarding plans for future team members.
