Job summary

Dixon Street Carpet Centre is seeking a weighed and customer-focused flooring sales assistant who can measure rooms, prepare quotes, and manage customer communications. You will visit customers at home to measure for new flooring and compile quotations, then follow up with prices by email or phone.

You will also handle in-store sales and assist with deliveries when needed. The role offers a competitive salary with Bupa health cover and a company vehicle for work (and private use within reason).

Qualifications

• Applicant must have experience in measuring, estimating and the sale of floor coverings.

Job description

Applicant must have experience in measuring, estimating and the sale of floor coverings. Be expected to work 5 days a week ( including Saturday, with a day off in the week )

The role will include:

• Visiting customers who have arranged a home visit to measure up for new flooring.
• Putting together quotations for customers.
• Emailing or phoning customers with prices.
• Dealing with customers in store.
• Taking in deliveries and preparing stock. Although this will only be on occasion if short staffed.
