Job summary

BOXHALL city is opening a new food hall in the City of London, bringing together 13 independent kitchens, bars, delis and purveyors. We are seeking professional, high-energy floor staff with excellent communication to deliver dishes and drinks to guests while upholding site operations and brand standards.

As a floor staff member you will greet guests, provide table service, upsell items, and maintain presents at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven serving experience in high-volume, cocktail-led venues.
• Confident, articulate and presentable with strong guest interaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; friendly and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Floor operations across the site and table service.
• Provide knowledgeable food and beverage pairing for guests.
• Maintain service standards and guest experience on the floor.
• Manage all aspects of floor service to anticipate and exceed expectations.
• Maximise guest experience and ensure floor upkeep and cleanliness.

The Company:

Brought to you by iconic brand BOXPARK, BOXHALL is a new food hall offering an eclectic and exciting collection of culinary concepts, steeped in heritage-rich settings.

Our debut site is coming soon to the City of London, located within a historic arcade, just a stone's throw away from the uk’s busiest train station.

Bringing together the latest London talent across a curated choice of 13 independently-owned kitchens, bars, delis and food and drink purveyors, BOXHALL city provides an escape where guests can indulge in connection, comfort and culinary discovery

The Role:

We are looking for professional, high-energy floor staff with excellent communication skills to deliver exciting dishes and drinks to our guests adhering to the operation of the site.

Floor staff will greet customers, provide table service, recommend menu items as well as be presentable at all times.

You will also upsell items and handle basic cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Floor operations across the site.

• Food / drink pairing knowledge for guest information.


• To provide the standard of service and guest experience required.


• Manage all aspects of the floor service within the premises in order to anticipate and exceed guest expectations

The Ideal Candidate for this role

• A proven serving experience in a high volume, cocktail led and dining venue.


• Confident, articulate and presentable.


• Well-trained with a good understanding of H\&S and due diligence


• Honest, reliable and hard-working


• A high level of personal integrity


• Passionate and proactive


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong people skills


• Able to build strong working relationships with staff


• Organised with high attention to detail


• Have a knowledge of beers, wines and spirits as well as recommended food pairings.


• Have a wide range of cocktail knowledge.
