Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a proactive Floor Supervisor to oversee a busy housekeeping team in our hotel portfolio. You will lead daily operations, ensure guest rooms meet our high standards, and coordinate with the Head Housekeeper to maintain efficiency and guest satisfaction.

With prior supervisory experience in hospitality, you will manage rotas, monitor hygiene and safety, and support staff training and development while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in hospitality, specifically housekeeping.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee busy housekeeping department and maintain guest room standards.
• Lead and organise staff rotas and support Head Housekeeper.

As a Floor Supervisor, your role involves overseeing a busy housekeeping department. You will work alongside a team to ensure cleanliness throughout guest and hotel premises while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and efficiency in collaboration with the Head Housekeeper.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms to established standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, empty trash bins and restock amenities.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean mirrors for a neat appearance.
• Sanitize surfaces thoroughly for hygiene maintenance.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues or damages.
• Follow supervisor instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
• Ensure the security of guest rooms and the privacy of the guests.
• Provide professional and respectful service to guests and respond to their requests promptly
• Working in fast paced high energy environment and checking the quality of rooms.
• Organising staff rotas.
• Working closely with the supervisory team to support the Head Housekeeper.
• Supporting the Housekeeping team with ongoing training and development.
• Maintaining the standards set by HotelCare and our client at all times.
• Meeting daily targets.
• Comply with all company health and safety policies and record any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
