Job summary

San Carlo Haleare in Manchester is seeking a Floor Manager to lead daily operations, ensure service excellence, and manage a motivated team across shifts. You will delegate tasks, recruit, monitor staffing, and uphold high standards of hospitality in a busy Italian restaurant.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a similar role, strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with good judgement to keep service smooth and guest satisfaction high.

Qualifications

• 2 year's experience in a similar role.
• Team management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Delegate work assignments, find the right person and assign them the right job adapting to the skill and necessities.
• Assist in the recruitment for new employees for the restaurant.
• Ensure smooth running of the restaurant and ensured restaurant is staffed at correct levels each day.
• Ensure delivery of high standard of service at all times.
• Support employee performance and encourage to an acceptable standard.
• Assist and support training and development of all employees.
• Deal effectively with customer complaints
