Job summary

JD Sports on the Leicester store floor is seeking a Floor Manager to lead the shop team, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold JD visual and service standards. You’ll guide daily operations, coaching and developing colleagues to stay energized and focused in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.

• Solid commercial awareness with understanding of how daily actions impact store KPIs.

As a Floor Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the JD experience, supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and ensuring every customer walks away feeling valued. In this role, you’ll support daily operations, lead by example on the sales floor, and help develop a confident, motivated team. You’ll bring energy, organisation, and a passion for great service, making sure the store looks sharp, runs efficiently, and reflects the standards JD is known for. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding JD service standards, ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and professional support.
• Drive commercial performance through effective shop-floor execution, including merchandising, replenishment, and motivating the team.
• Lead and develop colleagues to maintain high performance, strong engagement, and consistent adherence to JD policies and processes.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organised shop-floor environment.
