GES is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Floor Covering Coordinator to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients worldwide, this is the opportunity for you!

As a Floor Covering Coordinator at GES, you will be responsible for the coordination of key administrative tasks within Floor Covering and Central Planning. By following integrated planning processes, the role will execute internal and external coordination with a primary focus on Floor Covering.

Key activities and responsibilities
  • Complete accurate floor covering estimates by liaising with Account Management and retrieving data from our MIS system Clarity.
  • Using excellent organisational skills and following specifically detailed SOPs, complete various daily/weekly tasks.
  • Within Clarity, process and record data, ensuring this system is always kept up to date.
  • Work with Show Build Live to ensure all pre-show preparation for Floor Covering is fulfilled in accordance with SOPs and processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers and partners, place accurate orders of various floor covering materials, transport, and labour.
  • Process, issue, verify, and receipt purchase orders using Sage and Clarity for both internal and external suppliers.
  • Arrange travel and hotel accommodation for the Floor Covering Delivery team as required.
  • Process telephone queries and email requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update costing data through various systems and processes.
  • Record and process final figures when events are complete in collaboration with the Delivery team.
  • Issue invoices where necessary and ensure smooth processes with external suppliers, partners, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Provide administrative support within the Central Planning Team, including ordering uniforms, stationery, and managing absence/holiday cover.

Salary & Hours

This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 5 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during busy periods.
