Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate / Technical Director Flood Risk Modelling Lead to join their Water team. The position involves leading teams on complex flood risk modelling projects while expanding services for Gold clients like the Environment Agency and National Grid.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in hydraulic modelling software, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and strong leadership skills. A hybrid working model and competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• More than 15 years of experience in hydraulic and modelling software.
• Understanding of Environment Agency requirements for flood models.
• Established presence and network in the flood risk industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for complex flood risk projects.
• Lead and verify hydraulic modelling projects.
• Mentor and develop staff within the team.
• Build relationships with clients and technical disciplines.

Skills

Hydraulic modelling software experience

Strong communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
