Job summary

AZTRUM is seeking a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join our Bristol team. You will contribute to flood risk assessments, SuDS strategies, and drainage design across diverse sectors within a supportive, low-carbon focused environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on design using Infodrainage/Causeway Flow, collaboration with clients, and delivering robust drainage solutions for residential, commercial, and public projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Essential: strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in UK-based consultancy delivering flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and design with infodrainage or Causeway Flow.
• Drainage design experience for S104/S106 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for zones 1, 2 and 3.
• Develop SuDS strategies for projects.
• Design drainage, attenuation and SuDS solutions.
• Create drainage designs for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and education sectors.
• Incorporate natural flood management concepts where appropriate.
• Attend client meetings to discuss project progress.
