Job Title: Flood Risk Consultant / Senior Flood Risk Consultant

Location: London Bridge, SE

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

About the Role

Are you experienced in hydraulic modelling and looking for your next challenge? Do you want to work for a leading engineering, energy, and sustainability consultancy on major infrastructure projects across the UK? We are seeking a Flood Risk Consultant to join our water team in London, working on projects in residential, commercial, energy, nuclear, and defense sectors.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling, using Flood Modeler Pro or TUFLOW
• Substantial experience in flood risk assessments in accordance with NPPF and/or TAN 15

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and site meetings, site inspections, and progress reporting
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modelling using TUFLOW, Flood Modeler Pro, and QGIS
• Prepare flood risk assessments, bid proposals, and fee proposals
• Engage in research and business development for potential new clients
• Assist with project work-winning, budget management, and team development
• Attend client and regulatory meetings
