Job summary

WSP is expanding its UK flood forecasting capacity within the Sustainable Water Management team. You will deliver real time and non-real time flood modelling projects, mentoring junior modellers and contributing to bid proposals.

Working alongside hydraulic modellers and hydrologists, you’ll help develop service offerings and liaise with clients and stakeholders while maintaining a safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UK flood forecasting techniques and modelling methods.
• Experience in delivering and reviewing flood forecasting reports and products.
• Ability to mentor junior modellers and lead project work.”

Responsibilities

• Provide technical delivery for flood forecast modelling and hydrology studies using Flood Modeller.
• Lead QA reviews of flood forecasting reports and products.
• Produce high-quality client-facing deliverables with clear data visuals.
