Job summary

Change Grow Live Nottinghamshire is seeking a Vulnerabilities & Exploitation Floating Support Worker to support clients in housing crisis within structured treatment. You will carry a caseload of service users in drug/alcohol care and help develop staff skills in a supportive floating housing team.

Based in Nottinghamshire with county-wide travel, the role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and fixed-term until 31 March 2028. DBS check required; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Experience handling tenancy sustainment and building community links.
• Understanding of drug and alcohol impacts on housing, health and welfare.
• Ability to engage clients with varied backgrounds and needs.

Responsibilities

• Establish referral pathways for at-risk individuals.
• Provide wrap-around support in temporary and supported accommodations.
• Prioritise caseload by crisis intervention and needs.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings to support links to health and social care services.
• Collaborate with local authorities and housing/health partners to prevent homelessness.
• Support budgeting, education, training and employment while engaging in structured services.
