Job summary

Creative Support in Bishop Auckland and East Durham is recruiting Floating Support Workers to provide practical and emotional help to people with mental health needs in their homes or the community.

You will identify opportunities for social inclusion, work in a recovery‑focused way with clients, families and professionals, and support the day‑to‑day running of the service under the Project Manager. Full training is provided towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Qualifications

• No Previous Experience Needed
• On-the-job training provided to progress toward a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care
• Drivers with accessible cars are an essential requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Identify and access opportunities for social inclusion with clients.
• Work with clients, families and professionals to ensure a coordinated service.
• Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day operations of the service.
