The role

As the Floating Maintenance Technician, your duties will include performing and coordinating a broad range of maintenance, repairs, and installations, providing facilities performance reports to management, and contributing to high standards of facilities, safety, and security for tenants and visitors.

Under limited supervision, you will apply intermediate knowledge of technical and operational practices within your team, handling routine to moderately complex issues with some independent judgment.

What will you do?
  1. Apply intermediate knowledge of technical and operational practices within your team, handling routine to complex issues independently.
  2. Perform maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspection of building mechanical and electrical services to ensure safety and compliance.
  3. Contribute to maintenance management reviews and prepare reports to support decision-making and quality improvement.
  4. Coordinate activities related to installations and lifecycle replacements, monitor performance against budgets, and provide regular reports to operations management.
You will bring
  • Relevant vocational/trade certifications or qualifications, with experience in operations support or building maintenance, and knowledge of property management legislation.
  • Understanding of operational procedures and safety practices for major plant and systems, such as ventilation, electrical systems, and fire alarms.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with good organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks.
