Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Amesbury, England invites applications for a Flight Test Engineer Instructor (ETPS). You will deliver high quality ground and airborne instruction to aspiring flight test professionals and support the development of course syllabi.

The role requires extensive flight test experience, the ability to teach in the air alongside TPIs, and a solid understanding of aircraft performance and DSAT training. 37 hours per week at MOD Boscombe Down with travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate Flight Test Engineer from MoD-recognised schools or equivalent
• Engineering or Science degree with 3+ years LFTE experience
• Medically fit for a CAA Class 1 Medical

Responsibilities

• Delivering long and short course ground instruction and some in-flight instruction to Test Pilot and Flight Test Engineer students
• Assessing and mentoring ETPS students, with debriefing to enhance flight safety
• Contributing to course development and modernization of ETPS syllabi
