Job summary

GE Aerospace is offering a 12-month Research & Development placement at its Cheltenham/Gloucester sites. You will join multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to advanced technology projects and gain exposure from design to testing.

This placement is a pathway to GE’s Edison Engineering Development Programme and a career in aerospace engineering. We seek penultimate-year students in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or Software engineering with a 2:1 or higher and a passion for innovation,

Qualifications

• Currently studying an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical, Systems or Software Engineering Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree.
• On course to achieve a 2:1 degree or above.
• Penultimate year of study returning to education after placement.

Responsibilities

• Work on R&D projects with multi-disciplinary, international teams.
• Contribute to the full life cycle of projects from design to test.
• Engage with advanced technology areas and prototyping activities.
