Kingston University invites applications for a Flight Simulator Instructor to lead the delivery of flight simulator instruction within the Aviation Operations provision and to act as the Faculty's specialist authority on flight simulation and aviation training.

The role ensures simulator sessions meet high professional standards, guides curriculum development, and steers regulatory readiness toward CAA approval and ATOL status while supporting growth through teaching and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Part-time, fixed-term until 31 October 2027.
• 22.2 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of flight simulator instruction across Aviation Operations programmes, ensuring high professional standards.
• Oversee development and improvement of the simulator training curriculum, exercises and scenarios.
• Lead preparations for Civil Aviation Authority approval and Approved Training Organisation status, acting as the principal regulatory contact.
• Represent the Faculty at recruitment, outreach and engagement events.
