Job summary

Acron Aviation in Crawley is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to support the integration, testing, and commissioning of our advanced flight simulation systems. You will work with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver fully compliant simulators that meet customer and regulatory expectations.

Hands-on engineering skills will be applied to complex electro‑mechanical systems, with documentation of results and active participation in continuous improvement across NPI, testing, and

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (HNC/HND).
• Practical experience in manufacturing, aerospace, simulation, or electromechanical assembly.
• Hands-on experience with technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Exposure to formal testing activities, verification and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system integration activities for complex software, hardware, and mechanical systems.
• Execute validation & verification testing to meet technical specs and standards.
• Commissioning and issue resolution across electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces.
• Maintain documentation and test reports under guidance of lead.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality teams.
