Responsibilities

• Maintain and fault-find on commercial Full Flight Simulators (FFS).
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, electronic, motion, loading and visual systems.
• Diagnose hardware, software and performance issues and implement fixes.
• Run and review QTGs, calibrations and visual alignments.
• Support regulatory compliance and simulator availability.
• Potential to assume Senior Engineer or Shift Lead responsibilities based on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault‑finding and ongoing reliability of commercial Full Flight Simulators. You will work across electrical, electronic, avionics, motion, control loading and visual systems, carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring simulator availability. More experienced candidates will have the opportunity to take ownership of complex technical problems, support regulatory evaluations and mentor junior engineers.

The Role:

• Maintenance and fault‑finding on commercial Full Flight Simulators (FFS)
• Preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, electronic, motion, control loading and visual systems
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and simulator performance issues
• Running and reviewing Qualification Test Guides (QTGs), calibrations and visual alignments
• Supporting simulator reliability, regulatory compliance and operational readiness
• Opportunity to take on Senior Engineer or Shift Lead responsibilities depending on experience
• 24/7 shift operation, including a 4-on/4-off pattern

The Person:

• Previous hands‑on experience maintaining commercial fixed‑wing flight simulators
• Experience with Full Flight Simulators (FFS), ideally Boeing or Airbus
• Background as a Simulator Technician, Flight Simulator Engineer, Senior Simulator Engineer or similar
