Job summary

Blackbushe Airport Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Licensed Aerodrome Flight Information Service Officer (FISO) to work in our Control Tower. You will provide vital information for the safe and efficient conduct of flights and manage interactions with visitors by email, phone, and face to face.

Ideal candidates hold a FISO License and have practical Air Ground Operator experience; we may sponsor initial FISO training for the right person.

Qualifications

• FISO License preferred; training sponsorship possible.
• Experience as Air Ground Operator is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with industry applications like AFPEx and CFMU NOP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide vital information for safe, efficient flight operations at the aerodrome.
• Manage interactions with visitors by email, phone and face-to-face.
• Operate within the Aerodrome Safety Management System and follow CAA guidance.
