Job summary

Reflex Group is seeking a Print Assistant for our Barwell site to support flexographic presses and production workflows. You will prepare materials, manage tools, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment while assisting with setup, changeovers and quality checks.

You will work closely with the Printer to ensure production meets specifications, timelines and customer requirements, following 5S, Hygiene, Quality and BRC standards on a daily basis.

• Experience in manufacturing, production or printing.
• Strong awareness of health and safety in production.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to complete production records.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety policies, procedures and safe working practices.
• Support the Printer in the efficient operation and set-up of flexographic printing presses.
• Prepare and organise raw materials, inks, consumables and tooling for production.
• Ensure materials, WIP and finished goods are identified, stored and available for next processes.
• Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning and routine maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Monitor print quality and support corrective actions to meet customer specs and quality standards.
• Maintain 5S standards and workplace organisation; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Assist in reducing waste and improving production efficiency.
• Follow Hygiene, Quality and BRC requirements and company standards.
• Support shift handovers by communicating production status and issues.
• Complete production documentation and system records accurately.
• Report equipment faults, safety concerns, quality issues, or material shortages promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet operational targets and customer requirements.
• Take responsibility for care and use of equipment, tools and resources.
