Job summary

Reflex Group in Barwell, UK, is offering a Trainee Flexographic Printer position. The role provides hands-on training on modern flexographic presses, with supervision from experienced printers, to develop press setup, quality monitoring and maintenance skills.

Full training will be provided, with a rotating shift pattern and opportunities to progress within a large print and packaging group known for quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Interest in print, manufacturing or production environments.
• Willingness to learn technical machinery and processes.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and operation of flexographic printing machines.
• Learn how to prepare presses for printing and support fault-finding during runs.
• Help monitor print quality and ensure operating levels are met.
• Support ink and solvent preparation in line with materials and work orders.
• Work towards production speeds and time targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce downtime.
• Follow Quality Control procedures within the Print Department.
