Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a permanent Cleaner - Zero Hours to join our defence facilities teams. The role focuses on delivering clean, safe environments for clients and customers across our sites.

You will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces, maintaining high hygiene standards with a flexible hands-on approach. This position supports Defence, Government, and Energy services within the Compass Group UK & Ireland network.

Qualifications

• Our ideal Cleaner - Zero Hours will emphasise brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in cleaning is helpful but not essential.
• Flexibility in working hours is valued.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
