Job summary

ThePark Hospital in Nottingham, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join the Theatre department on a flexible, as-and-when-required basis. Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP HCPC registration.
• Experience or training in theatre in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.
• Understanding of infection control, manual handling and patient safety principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe surgical practice.
• Minimum 2 years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and patient requirements.
• Check all surgical and anaesthetic equipment prior to use and report faults.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies at all times.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve safe and efficient lists.
• Support a positive, respectful and efficient theatre environment.
