Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils in welcoming primary schools across Balham (SW12). Flexible day-to-day supply, short-term, or long-term placements are available, with ongoing consultant support and access to CPD.

Applicants should have experience with children, be patient and enthusiastic, and possess strong communication skills. An enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children, either in schools, childcare, coaching, tutoring, or similar settings.
• Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic.
• Has strong communication skills.
• Can adapt confidently to different school environments.
• Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in the classroom across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Working 1:1 with children or supporting small groups.
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
